Expert Q&A

Can you be too creative when it comes to baby food purees for beginners?
I would definitely recommend being creative, and also to staying attuned to the tastes of your baby. Experiment and try new combinations once new single foods have been introduced. Babies often will be more receptive to new tastes if they are accompanied by one they are familiar with. Some combinations to think about trying are blueberry and banana, apple and avocado, apple and pear, peas and yellow squash, sweet potatoes and carrot.
