Expert Q&A
My son's child's first birthday is coming up. I want to start the tradition of planting a tree for him on each of his birthdays. What are some options of trees that flower?
Since it depends on where you live as to what you can grow, may I suggest that you visit your local garden center and talk with someone who knows what will grow in that area as per your specifications. You will also at that time see trees that are in flower now and can ask which will flower later on in the growing year. Also, pay attention to leaf color in the autumn, as some trees have wonderful autumn color."
