Expert Q&A
My son is almost 20 months and still will not walk. My doctor says he is fine, just cautious. Am I missing something?
Nope, your doctor is probably right. A lot of babies we see tend to crawl so well and efficiently that they don't rush into walking and just don't feel like it. In the next three to four months, I suspect you'll see a change, and he will want to start trading in his crawling locomotion for walking shoes."
