Expert Q&A
Is a sulfur-like odor associated with the rotavirus when vomiting or burping?
A literature review of the medical articles available between 1966 and now revealed no mention of a sulfur-like odor in connection with rotavirus (one of the most common causes of childhood diarrhea), and I personally have never experienced any patients with this complaint.
