Introduction
Christmas is over and now we are trying to get things back to normal. I think it might take us weeks before we will succeed. Well, we arrived home on the 19th. Not only did we bring back extra luggage, Autumn brought back the flu and a double ear infection. She has shared it with me -- at least the flu -- no ear infections! She is now starting to get better, yet I continue to cough and blow my nose every few minutes.
Christmas was great in Indiana. Autumn made out like a bandit in the gift department. She is NOT going to have a problem when it comes to self-esteem! Not only did my folks buy her a TON of gifts to open while we were in Indiana, when they arrived Saturday night, there was another load of gifts for her. This child now has a whole new wardrobe and all new toys. (Which I need to put away.)
On Sunday we all went to Joe's mom's and she received MORE gifts. Then Monday we went to Joe's dad's and his grandparents and she was giving MORE there. (One being a Little Tykes bike that she is NOW walking with.) Then this morning, my folks got up, got Autumn dressed, and ventured out to buy her a toy box and whatever else they decide to get for her. This girl is SPOILED!
Here I sit, writing my entry in an empty house, all alone! Joe is at work, Autumn and my folks are out shopping ... WHAT DO I DO?? Maybe I will take advantage of this and soak in a nice hot bath and tinker with all the neat bath toys that now fill my bathtub!
I hope everyone had a nice holiday! Sorry this week's entry is short, but with being sick and with the holidays, my brain is warped.
Take Care,
Jessie & Autumn
