Introduction

Dear Santa:

I know you get plenty of letters this time of year, yet I am sure you are surprised to see one from a mom. Well, I have been a very good mommy all year long so I hope you will be able to grant at least a few of my wishes. Keep in mind that many of them benefit not only myself, but our entire family.

TOP TEN THINGS I WANT FOR X-MAS:

10. A Weekly Bubble Bath
- Just 30 minutes without Tommy "zooming" his toy boats through my
bath water or pounding on the door to be let in. Just 30 minutes without Max crawling into the bathroom and peeking his head around the shower curtain (although he is awfully cute when the water sprays his face and he smiles from ear to ear). Just 30 minutes alone with a tub full of steaming water, scented bubbles, and soft music….once a week. Is that too much to ask? (Psst -- I'll settle for once a month!)

9. Magic Sleep Potion
- Just a small bottle from the SandMan will do. I promise to only use it in emergencies. Like when it's our "cut-off day" and DH & I "have to" BD. What?? That doesn't constitute an emergency?

8. To Be a Year Younger
- Rather than a year older on Decemeber 14th. Heck, even keeping me at my current age when be better than turning 33.

7. Potty Training Boot Camp
- Please send Tommy to a camp where he comes home disciplined in the art of using the potty? Day and night with very few accidents!! Please Santa, Please! My hands are chapped and raw from washing out poopy underpants.

6. My Diary Moved to Moms Today
- Perhaps you could sweet-talk the powers that be at Iparenting and see if we can't get this done before the new year. I've been waiting weeks and weeks now. I think they could be persuaded with some extra chocolate under the tree!! :-)

5. A Juicy Bacon Cheeseburger
- One with no fat, low calories and doesn't compromise The Preconception Diet for a Girl (hint - that would mean low sodium/low potassium). In fact,if you could, make it high in calcium and Magnesium. Oh, and please try not to compromise the taste!!!

4. OPKs that are Easier to Read
- None of this "if the line is darker" crap. Let's have them read a "no" if
your not ovulating and a very dark "YES" if you are.

3. A BIG FAT + HPT
- Waking up Christmas morning, peeing on that stick and seeing 2 lines...well that would be the BEST Christmas present of all!

2. A Flat Stomach, Thin Thighs, and Firm Butt
- Okay so maybe that's too much to ask!!!

1. More Laughs, Smiles, Hugs & Kisses
- Actually, I'm sure Kevin and the boys will be able to grant me this wish....

Thanks Santa for keeping this sometimes over-worked, occasionally stressed-out mommy in mind this year.

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!

Lori
