Hannah's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

Introduction

Nearly 9 months

Oh boy, things are quite hectic here!!! I have packed the suitcase and the presents, so by the time this is posted we will be in Rockhampton. I am very excited, despite the chaos which is my life at the moment. Sorry if this entry appears short, but there are heaps of things I need to do before we leave.

LouisThe river runs dry. Louis hasn’t been breastfed for about 1 week!!! He isn’t interested anymore and I think my supply has dwindled as a result. I figured that he is nearly 9 months, we have had a great supply until now and we have well and truly bonded. I am a little sad, but I think I have accepted that it’s time to move on. Louis is still very much a mummy’s boy, which I don’t think will change in the near future.

There is a tooth and another on the way. I can just see the first one and the other is nearly breaking the gum. Louis has been in very good spirits despite the teething saga -- I think it hurts him more as they are getting to the surface rather than when they break through. The other day he was clinking his tooth on a glass when I was giving him a drink of water -- what a lovely sound to hear.

Louis will have a LITTLE playmate over Christmas, Cameron’s cousin had a little girl last Wednesday (13 December), Morghan Claire. So she will only be just over a week when we see her -- enough to push me over the edge of CLUCKY!!! Louis brought her a "Cow" dress-up outfit (his cousin loves jersey cows) and I absolutely love it. We also got her a beautiful white crocheted hat -- very pretty.

LouisWe are spending Christmas day at Cameron’s uncle and aunt’s house, they have a pool and air conditioning!!! We will need it. I have organised to have lunch with my best friend on Friday and I need to make other plans to see one of my friends from high school when we are up there. As you can see our holiday will be more like a well scheduled week than a relaxing time. But I have to get my fix of my friends whist there.

Well my dear friends, I really must go and get some more of our things together. To all of you, we wish you the greatest Christmas ever!!! Please be safe over the festive season and take good care of each other. It has been a fantastic year in this little cyber world we have created and I thank each and every one of you for the friendship, advice and support. I will surely miss you during the holidays and will be back online early in the new year. Christmas cuddles and kisses to all your children.

All Our Love,

Hannah, Cameron & Louis XXX

P.S. More photos of Louis and I under the Christmas tree.
