Well, it has been a while since I posted an update so this might be a long one!! So much has been happening I don’t know where to start.
First and foremost, Ryan is just an absolute doll! He is such a great baby. He is working on his top FOUR teeth right now, yes FOUR at once!! He hasn’t been too much trouble just a bit uncomfortable. Motrin and Advil have become a very common household name around here!
Most recently Ryan has been sick with Croup. He is on the mend now but he was pretty sick for a few days. That on top of his teething made for one very unhappy boy!
Ryan is crawling all over the place and walks with assistance of someone’s hand. He is still a ways away from walking unassisted but I am sure in the next months he will manage to figure it out. He has stopped saying “mama” and constantly says “dada” he is trying to say “doggie” but it sounds more like “dodo” – he is just too funny!
DD Taylor enjoys tormenting her baby brother all the time!! It drives me crazy because I am constantly having to reprimand her for hitting him, making him cry, taking his toys away from him and so on, you name it she does it already!! I am sure once he gets old enough to fight back we are going to have some doosies around here!
I have some new news too! I started a business of my own. I am an independent distributor for a company called Slumber Parties, Inc. It has been nice and keeping me very busy. I do in home parties for Woman only and they are just so much fun!! I never thought I would do well in direct sales but these products really sell themselves! I just tell the group about them and how to use them and they decide what they like. I am making more money now than I did working part time out of the house! You can make anywhere from $100-$400 PER PARTY! That amounts to quite a bit if you do it full time. I have been doing it part time and am still doing very well. Well enough to purchase a brand new van!!

The only thing you have to do is invite your friends and family. You are not responsible for taking orders and you don’t have to collect money or deliver orders. If you wish, have some refreshments out for your guests – but remember – THIS IS A NIGHT OFF!
You and your friends get to smell, touch and taste the products so you can decide which products you like. Slumber Parties products are made in FDA approved laboratories with pharmaceutical grade materials. Products offer variety, high quality, and affordability (bath/massage aids, lotions, etc. range $8.00-$15.50)
Ordering is done in a separate room for privacy and confidentiality. Your guests also leave with the products they order if I have them in stock – otherwise they will be delivered within 2 weeks.
The shows are done very tastefully in a non-threatening environment. There are products that you could buy for your daughter or grandmother (like skin moisturizers, body/hair glitter and jewel tattoos)
You earn free products while having fun with friends as a hostess of a Slumber Party.

I know so many women who have quit their full time jobs to do parties full time! Who can say they pay themselves and LOVE their jobs!!

Well, thanks for letting me go on about my new endeavor. It is just what we needed so that I could stay home with the kids and still have a “job” if that is what you want to call it!!
