Hi everyone, things are very busy around here lately with all the preparations for the holidays. We don't think Nathan is fully aware of what's going on, but he does seem to appreciate being able to play with all the new boxes that keep coming into the house.
Nathan continues to please us with his progress. My mom also thinks she hears him trying to say certain words. It's rather amusing to see us all standing around trying to get him to repeat things while he just looks at us in confusion.
The other day we were shopping and I saw a great two-seater sled. Although I was itching to buy it, I realize that he may be a little young to go sledding, but we'll see. In any case, I do look forward to building his first snowman and getting a picture of him with Santa Claus.
Nathan's newest activity is stacking things. He just loves to stack things on top of one another over and over again. He also is able to find more and more things to try and climb on. If we turn our heads for just one second, he has his little leg up trying to climb something. As we watch him do all these activities, Rich and I try to guess what it means in terms of his future. Rich thinks his love of paper indicates that he's going to be a lawyer. I think his stacking ability is a sure sign we may have another engineer in the family. Of course there's the fact that he's so out-going, which leads one of my friends to believe he's going to be a senator. I guess we'll all have to just wait and see, but in the mean time it's a lot of fun trying to "figure" him out while he figures out his world.
Take care 'till next time.
Debbie
