Two entries from me in three days - don't fall over now! I did an entry on 10/25 in case you missed it!
I was putting Alyssa's 12 month info into her babybook tonight and decided to finally sit down and fill out the "Letter from Mom to Baby" part. I got all sappy and am now crying, so I just had to share with you all and make you cry, too! LOL Where did my baby go? Someone help! The year went too fast!

Dearest Alyssa ~
You have changed my life in so many ways in the past 12 months. A year ago, I anxiously awaited your arrival - trying to imagine what you'd look like and who you would be. I remember being terrified that I would do something wrong and hurt you. I've watched you become aware of your surroundings, begin to interact with them, and now explore them. You've gone from a wee helpless newborn to an active, curious little girl. Each day is more precious and I think I am learning as much from you as you are from me. I can only imagine what the years ahead will hold!
I pray that you grow into a sweet young lady who loves the Lord and strives to please Him. I don't expect you to be perfect. If know you'll make your share of mistakes - we all do. If we didn't, then we would not need the gift of salvation that Jesus has given us! God has a wonderful plan for your life, my cherished daughter. Follow Him - He will always guide you! You will never regret giving your life to Christ. Concentrate on you - God will provide the man you will someday marry. Trust Him for that and don't waste your teens worrying about this guy or that guy. Worry about becoming a godly woman to be someone's wife.
One day you'll hold your own precious child. While rocking her to sleep, you'll feel your heart bursting at the seams and think that must be how I felt when I rocked you - and you would be SO right!
May God's richest blessings be yours Dear Alyssa
Love, Mommy
