You know I still haven't gotten Noah's 1 year pictures taken. Bad Mommy! I usually am pretty good about it but this time I am really slacking off. Why? I think cause he needs his first hair cut, I know it needs to be done, but it is kind of sad. That first hair cut, in my opinion, let's me know that he is no longer a baby, but a toddler. Oh it is sad. But I made myself a promise. Noah will get his first hair cut this week! Then I will get his pictures taken.
The other day a friend was asking what the differences were between Austin and Noah. On the subject of pounds, inches, teeth, etc. Well I had to pull the baby book of Austin's out. Oh boy he was/is a cutie! Bias mom here! I started looking through all the pictures and notes of both boys books. Man what a difference! Austin at 1 stats were 32 1/2 inches long, 27 pounds 10 ounces, barely 4 teeth. Noah's is 30 inches, 21 Lb. 10 1/2 ounces, and 8 teeth! There is a big difference in the boys for sure. It is kind of neat to compare the stats of the two boys from time to time.
COVER YOUR EYES!!!

Here comes the naked baby!!! Haa! We have a slight problem ladies and gentlemen. My son has been taking his diaper off! The first time he did this was cute. Then after that I thought well we will just make sure he has some type of clothing on at ALL times. This should work, right? Haa! The kid can't stand to sleep in nothing but the diaper. He gets so hot in pj's and fusses in his sleep. Makes for a long night. But yesterday he was taking his clothes off and then taking the diaper off! Too smart for his age I think. I would be downstairs and both boys upstairs playing. I would hear Austin giggle/scream for me or Don and come running downstairs saying, "MOM HE DID IT AGAIN!!!!" At first we thought maybe Austin just thought it was funny and was giving brother a little "help" with the diaper. So we spyed on them. Nope, Austin was not helping! Noah was all to blame. So he took it off again and we would go chase him down to put a new one on. Oh Noah thought this was a game and would run away. Picture if you will: Mom doing dishes, Noah upstairs taking a diaper off himself, me going upstairs with a clean diaper, chasing him down the hall, all the while Noah is giggling and screaming with joy. All the time all you see is a naked baby butt and a face turning every once in a while to see where you are. Ahh the joys of a 1 year old. Memories being made! Makes for an interesting day.
ON, OFF, ON, OFF...

Noah has known for a while that the TV has buttons but never dared to mess with them, well till this weekend. Boy we had a fun filled weekend didn't we. He discovered that if he pushes the big button it turns the TV on and off, on, off, on, off....Oh this is a bit maddening when you are trying to watch a movie. All he would do was look at us and dance a little dance and run off. He sure keeps us on our toes and entertained.
