Oh never a dull moment!

What a day, week, year, this has been. We got to our amnio yesterday in record time considering how nasty traffic was and then we waited for the doctor to come to radiology. She determined that I have too low of amniotic fluid to even find a pocket to induce. I was an 8 and I guess the range for normal is 5-25.  I am on the very low side of normal. They in turn sent me up to L & D and I got to watch the monitors chime away for an hour to see if the baby was doing alright despite my low fluid volume. The baby was fine and they sent us home. This means no induction for today. I'm sooo bummed but I guess if that is the way God intended it, then fine. We are scheduled for another ultrasound to check the fluid levels on Monday and that will determine where they go from there. Such a sad day, I was really hoping to be holding a baby right now. Oh well. In God's Time I guess.
