Bridget's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

ok mom I'm fine.

September 6, 2006

Well Dylan started Preschool yesterday and did absolutely fine. He even asked me to stop asking him questions when we got to the house. I asked him if he had fun and he said, "well yeah I'm a big boy." Well there you have it, he is starting to grow up and I'm the one acting like a baby as he makes his way to his hook and chair.

Once we dropped Dylan off, Kaitlyn and I decided to go back to the house and read some books. She went in his room and blubbered a bit because he was gone but then the only child syndrome kicked in and she was loving being the center of my attention. Wow how time flies when you are reading and pretending to feed babies. (definitely her favorite game) We went and picked him up and he handed me his macaroni necklace that he made for his sister. He also painted two pictures for Chris (Dh) and I. Kaitlyn didn't want to part with her new found necklace before naptime so it went back in a ziploc bag and back into his backpack for safe keeping. He then displayed it proudly for his father. He also proceeded to tell me that he now does not have to take naps because he is a big boy that goes to school. I told him, nice try.

On the baby front, I've made it to 34 wks 4 days. WOOO HOOO!!! We are having an amnio scheduled for September 21st to see if the lungs are mature yet. Right now I'm contracting every 8-12 minutes so hopefully she decides to stay in a little longer. Guess the bed rest isn't doing much for me right now. I have a doctor's appt tom. and then we will go from there. I'm not looking forward to having a large needle poked into my belly but if that is what it takes then fine.

Thanks for reading!!!

God Bless

Bridget, Dylan, Kaitlyn, and Baby thinking it is time to come out. :(
