Bridget's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

Wow how time flies by!

August 16, 2006

August definitely is a weird month in the suburbs. The temp drops to 60's at night but is in the upper 80's today. Our tree out back is trying to get me prepared for fall because now three or four of it's branches have completely changed. I look outside at it and want to chop it down. Sorry for the hostility but it shouldn't be changing this early should it?

Anyway, Kaitlyn is out of daycare for now. She really didn't adjust well and they wouldn't take her with a runny nose so it is just easier for her to be here. I don't know how this is going to come about but I'm SOOOO VERY BLESSED to have both of them home. It is definitely hard and right now I'm not bleeding so I guess this is ok for now. I am waiting for them to get up from their afternoon nap so we can go back outside.

Kaitlyn is still showing interest in potty training but daycare has definitely put a hold on that issue. Her new thing is to dance and we definitely had to get that on camera because it is the cutest thing ever. She is awkwardly moving her arms and legs and it is the funniest thing ever. She likes to dance to all sorts of music. I'm not sure how she is going to adjust when the baby comes. She really thinks she is still the baby. Very hard concept that I'm hoping will just fall into place with time.

On the baby front, I'm almost 32 wks and getting very big.  The bleeding has stopped for now so that is good thing. I am checking my blood/glucose levels for now because I can't keep the glucose solution in my system long enough for them to check me. Oh well. I'm marking off the days and praying we can get to 34 wks without delivering. Things look ok for now so we are definitely happy.

Thanks for reading and God Bless
