Will the ear infections ever end?

August 8, 2006

Hmm where do I begin. Kaitlyn is going for her ear re-check today at 5 and Dylan is on another antibiotic for his ear infection that hasn't gone away. What gives? I don't understand. This is only a second ear infection for Dylan and he can't get rid of it. Kaitlyn also has been on three antibiotics for a ruptured ear drum and an ear infection that won't go away. I am perplexed but hoping that they tell me that she is all clear tonight at her appt.

Daycare, well that isn't going much better. Kaitlyn still screams the entire time she is there and her face lights up when I get there. I'm definitely happy to be wanted but goodness I feel horrible still. Dylan on the other hand is dealing just fine. He calls it the "babysitter" and tells me that he is ready to go to school instead of the "babysitter." He starts preschool on Sept 5th. I can't wait, I think I'm more excited than he is. We bought him a Disney Cars theme backpack and he has an open house on Aug 31st. He is just growing up so fast.

I just got Kaitlyn's Halloween costume in the mail. I ordered if off of ebay because I was trying for a theme. Katie is going to be a dalmation and Dylan is going to be a fire fighter. So hopefully all will be healthy and well for that.

Anyway on the baby front, still on bed rest or being a couch potato as my doctor refers to it. I'm still bleeding on and off and wish it would stop. I had some contractions last night that were so not fun but we are managing.

The weather in the suburbs is really beautiful today. Mid 70's and very enjoyable. Hope all is well with everyone and good luck to Amanda (precon writer) on catching that eggie.

Thanks for reading

God Bless
