Ear Infections, Pink Eye, and Medicine Oh MY!
July 25, 2006
Wow when it rains, it pours. As I described in my last entry that Dylan was not acting like himself. Well we found out at the doctor's office yesterday that he has a double ear infection and pink eye. Oh how I love pink eye. It is so contagious and a fantastic infection to give the rest of us. Hopefully we will wash our hands enough that we will avoid spreading the fun infection throughout our household. Kaitlyn had her ear recheck and she still has an ear infection in the left ear. She was on an antibiotic for ten days and that didn't clear it up so we get to try another antibiotic for another ten days. Hopefully this will take care of it. Our kids are like night and day. Dylan, I knew immediately that he wasn't feeling good, but Kaitlyn has walked around with her ear infection for two weeks and hasn't even gotten crabby.
Here is a picture of Kate playing in the Boat filled with water today. She is saying cheese in the picture. She can practically repeat any word you want her to say.

Dylan was definitely feeling better today. He is zipping around the house like his old self again. So happy we know what was bugging him. I felt horrible when he would start crying at the drop of a hat. Poor guy. Anyway, we are gearing up for the Lake County Fair. Once it is over, you know Summer is pretty much to an end. I'm sad cause it seems like the temperatures just got warm up here. Oh well. On to Fall I guess. I have been trying to buy Kaitlyn's Halloween costume. She is going as a Dalmation and Dylan is going as a Firefighter. Too bad I couldn't dress the baby up as a hydrant or something. ok only kidding. :) Until Next Time.
God Bless,
Bridget, Dylan, Kaitlyn, & Baby #3
