Kids are back and Dylans not eating.
July 24, 2006
I am losing my mind. I don't know whether I'm coming or going. We went and picked up the kids from my FIL and Dh's brother Nate. The kids were so excited. Now Dylan is acting weird. He isn't eating again and he cries a lot. I'm not sure what to do. Kaitlyn is the same happy go lucky toddler. She pretty much goes with the flow of things. I refer to Dylan as our very spirited child and I'm unsure as to what is going on. I'm assuming is has to do with all the events that are taking place this past couple of weeks and I'm sure seeing mommy in the hospital doesn't help much. I'm really happy they are home. Our house was so very empty before and it drove me crazy. I love the laughter and the crying and well just all of it.
Speaking of change, the leaves on our tree outside are starting to change. It seems like I waited all year for them to grow on the trees and already one branch on that tree is starting to change for fall. This is going by way too fast.
On the baby front, I'm 28 wks 2 days. Still feeling contractions that are not so nice but tolerable. I had my ultrasound last Thursday and they said the placenta was 3 cm away from the cervix so we are in the clear as long as I don't experience any more bleeding. I still have to be careful with what I do but I'm really happy the kids are back. It keeps my mind off other things.
Kaitlyn (who just celebrated her 20 month birthday) has had a language explosion again. She is talking with three and sometimes four word combination. It seems like her hair has grown since I last saw her too. She is looking more and more like a little girl versus a baby. It is sad but I guess it is time. I did get her to go potty this morning while her brother was going but we're going to have to work on that. She completely regressed when she was down with her grandparents but that is perfectly ok. They did a wonderful job with them. I'm very blessed to have such great help. Anyway Thanks for reading and hopefully I will be able to post another picture of the kids soon. They have changed a lot since two weeks ago.
God Bless,
Bridget, Dylan (3 1/2), Kaitlyn (20 months), and Baby #3 due October ![]()
