Kids are doing well. Still on Bedrest!

July 19, 2006

I called my MIL today to see how our kids are doing (I haven't seen them since last Tuesday and I miss them soo much) Dylan got on the phone and once again asked if he could come home. I tried not to cry but I did anyway. I just made sure he couldn't hear me sobbing from his end of the conversation. He told me that he was playing cars and tetta (this is his nickname for Kaitlyn) was playing with her shoes and rocking in the rocking chair. He told me he missed me and asked to speak to daddy. Chris (DH) is working so he will have his chance tonight to talk to him. DH works for a large company up here and it is budgeting season. He will be very busy until the end of August. Kaitlyn got on the phone and snorted a few times. She said mamma of course and then tried to hang up on me. I did eventually get a bye, bye but I still think the idea of a phone perplexes a twenty month old. She still hasn't figured out why mommy's voice is coming out of such a foreign object. My MIL was going to take them swimming, and I felt a twinge of jealousy but I know this is for the best. Here is a picture of kaitlyn when she was more like 8 or 9 months. I figured since this is a baby diary I should put a couple pictures of her when she was a baby. Sorry they are sooooooo BIG too. When I figured out how to downsize them, I will. Any suggestions? Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Anyway on the baby front: Almost 28 wks pregnant. I am scheduled to have another ultrasound and appt. tom. I'm praying that goes ok and hopefully the kids can come back so I can at least see them and help a little bit with them. I miss them terribly. We (ok Chris is) getting ready to paint Dylan's room so he can get ready for preschool. He starts the end of August and goes twice a week for three hours. I am transforming his room into something more appropriate for a little boy. Wish me luck!!! God Bless and thanks for reading Bridget, Dylan (3.5), Kaitlyn (20 months) & baby due October
