JULY is flying by so quickly!
July 9, 2006
I still am in Awe that July 4th is gone already. Time and this pregnancy is just flying by so quickly. There are times when I don't really realize that I'm pregnant. Anyway, we had a BBQ for July 4th with our friends and their friends. They have a 9 month old daughter named MacKayla. Dylan and Kaitlyn enjoyed our pool and the fireworks. Our firework display was really horrible this year. Don't know what happened there but Dylan was still amused. Kaitlyn was trying to fall asleep on Chris (my husband) the entire time so it was probably good they were really short.
We just visited my parents in central Illinois. The kids went swimming in my brother's pool. It is rather large and the kids loved it. They played with my nephew Luke. He is 2 1/2 and absolutely adorable. (ok I am a little bias cause he is my one and only nephew but still) Kaitlyn loved the water and has pretty much no fear when it comes to jumping off the side.
Here is a picture of Dylan:
Here is another picture of Kaitlyn at the beach in Lake Geneva, WI
On the baby front, I'm 26 wks 1 day and I feel HUGE! I think this being my third baby, I have pooched out quite a bit more than with the last pregnancies. I took some medication to stop the contractions and that seems to have done the trick. I am scheduled to have another ultrasound on July 20th to determine whether the placenta previa is still there.
Other than that, Kaitlyn is still on the potty training front. She definitely understands the idea and we put her in pull-ups. She still sometimes gets really busy and forgets but she is only 19 1/2 months old so we still have a ways to go.
Thanks for reading and God Bless
