Bedrest and Katies doing better
June 29, 2006
First of all, Almost happy Fourth of July to Everyone!!! It is hard to believe that July is already around the corner. Chicago and the suburbs are experiencing colder than normal weather. Dylan has been in the pool I think one time since the Summer began.
So what is new with Kaitlyn, well her ear infection is getting better I think. She is still on the antibiotic and we go back for a ear recheck in another week or so. We have to put ear wax softener drops in her ear four days before we go. I'm sure that is going to really make her happy. Her language has exploded once again this month. She is putting two and three words together. Her favorite statement right now is "bye bye baby" or "bye bye mama." She still seems interested in potty training but I think it depends on whether she's busy doing something or not. Dylan is still our spiritual child. I say that lovingly. He has started to become quite the little tattle tale when it comes to his sister. I try not to encourage his behavior but sometimes it is nice to have eyes and ears watching over Kaitlyn all the time. I will try and post a picture of Kaitlyn and if it works then I will start posting more pictures.
ok we'll see if that worked and if not I will keep trying.
So update on the baby front. I'm 24 1/2 wks and on bedrest because of contractions and a placenta previa. The contractions were coming irregular but definitely there so they are giving me medication to stop them. Let's all pray this works. Hopefully they will stop and I can resume my stay-at-home-mom duties. The good news is that the baby is doing very well and has turned head down. That is a relief since last ultrasound showed that she was breech. I will have another ultrasound in four weeks or so to determine if the previa is still there. If you don't know what a previa is (like me at first), it is when the placenta is covering part or all of the cervix making a natural delivery not favorable. I have had both my other kids naturaly so this baby girl is already throwing me curve balls and she isn't even born yet. Anyway thanks again for reading and Congrats to my friend Chris on delivering her beautiful little baby girl Amy.
God Bless,
Bridget, Dylan, Kaitlyn, and Baby Girl due in October![]() | ![]() |
