Help he Whines all the TIME!
June 18, 2006
Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there. Well as you can see from my tagline, my son is having a bit of a whining problem. He whines from the moment he gets up to the moment he goes to bed. Granted he is 3 1/2 but still my goodness it is NON-STOP. He whines when he doesn't get his way or when he wants something or when he gets hurt. Needless to say, Chris (my husband) and I are perplexed as to why it has gotten worse all of a sudden. We usually handle it by ignoring him until he can stop or ask in a "big boy voice." This annoys him and he usually will ask in a non-whining manner followed up by another whine. Oh boy.
Anyway we went to the house in Lake Geneva for vacation with my in-laws. Needless to say it went well until my MIL decided to have another one of her tantrums. I think her and Dylan need a lesson on whining together. Overall the trip was pleasant and relaxing. We took the kids to the beach and they enjoyed every bit of sand and water. Katie ate most of the sand, so I was convinced I would find a castle in her diaper. :)
She is starting to eat again and we went out for Father's Day to Red Lobster and she actually ate more than her brother, which is very surprising to all of us.
Other than that, I'm 23 wks 1 day and the baby is moving wildly at times. So much so that she wakes me up at night. I've inched my way into all of my maternity clothes and I refuse to buy anything else. Baby number three will definitely complete our family so I don't want to buy more clothes when this is it. Well sorry if I have sent all of you, if there even are any, into boredom. Thanks for reading if you do.
God Bless,
Bridget, Dylan, Kaitlyn and Baby Girl #3 ![]() | ![]() |
