Today has been the day of all days. Megan is sick, drenched me in what appeared to be broken undigested cracker bits and that's only the beginning. She is going to the doctor for a possible ear infection but maybe a viral flu thing. I don't know, it has been going around here so only time will tell if the rest of us are infected. The past couple of weeks have been a daze. We've visited Illinois for a bridal shower. Not so fun. Endured about 6 hours on the road one way because of road widening construction. It's like the states say, Welcome Drivers, it's Spring, Have a great time with construction.:) It tacked on about 1 hour to the trip extra and with Kaitlyn's frequent potty breaks, it rounded out to be about six hours. Lucky us.
Dylan is finished up preschool and has been counting down the days till Kindergarten. He is restless when he is with me all day so this summer may be a challenge to keep him interested in things, not bored, and out of trouble.
Megan, besides being sick, is still working on her eye teeth. I just keep telling myself that this is the last baby that will teeth in our family. Whew that was a long six years of chewing, biting, snarling, and drooling. She is still working on the hair growth too. Lol. Most babies at 19 months have hair, Megan's is just now long enough to go over her ears. She is developing other places I guess. She is using three word combos now. Mostly Mommy more please. There are some real long pauses as she decides what words to use next but we are thrilled. She runs and it is the cutest thing. She shifts from left to right and almost fast walks. I love it.
Kaitlyn is still doing gymnastics and we found out that Dylan's teacher will be Kaitlyn's also. That is a relief since Katie doesn't warm up to just anyone.
Anyway Summer is coming I keep telling myself. Dh is working longer hours so the kids and I are together alone a lot.
Thanks for reading
Gotta take Mooga Chop to the Dr.
