Megan the nocturnal baby!

May 11, 2007

Why is it that when you think you have a routine, the baby goes and changes everything? Megan was doing well, sleeping and only waking up about once a night and then WHAM she became nocturnal.

She is waking up two maybe three times a night now to eat. Not because she is hungry, but because she can and she doesn't want to fall asleep without the booba.

I'm exhausted and finally let my husband take her downstairs. He had her until one in the morning. He fell asleep with her on his chest I presume. I don't know. I woke up after seven straight hours of sleep and didn't know what to do with myself.

So what are we doing wrong? Why is she waking up so much now? Growing spurt or has Megan really become nocturnal? I don't know and I don't know how I feel about letting her cry it out. Who knows I guess I am going to have to break her of it some how.

So BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!

PACIFIER VS. MOMMY

Mommy cuts rubber chew off of pacifier

Pacifier is useless against mommy!!!

Mommy WINS...

Katie got rid of the pacifier last week. I cut it in half and gave her the piece with the plastic left. She cried but accepted it and hasn't asked for it since.

Dylan update.

Dylan is almost done with his first year of preschool and last week we took his training wheels off. Hooray.

Anyway hope all is well.

God Bless

Bridget, Mommy to Dylan (4 1/2), Kaitlyn (2 1/2), & Megan the Chop (7 months)
