  • Special baby detergent. According to Swack, scent-free detergent is the same as detergent marketed for baby clothes.
  • Multiple strollers. For most families, a stroller is handy to have, but one should be enough. Find one that will fit all of your needs. A jogging stroller can be used at the shopping mall, for example.
Consider Your Lifestyle

Evaluate what your lifestyle is and what your needs will be. But most important, truly consider which of the colorful baby gadgets you truly need. After all, your parents somehow managed to survive without all that stuff and you turned out OK!

Budget-minded Baby Buying

As long as he has a comfortable place to sleep, you can take your time to furnish a baby's room. Here are some budget-friendly tips:

1. Instead of a changing table, a vinyl-covered sleep mat works just as well as a place to change the baby's diaper. It's also easy to clean if there are accidents.

2. Plastic storage systems work well for a baby's small clothes. File drawers can fit a lot of T-shirts and sleepers, while smaller drawers are perfect for socks and storing baby supplies. After the baby's clothes move into a dresser and the baby gets older, the storage system can be used for toys, books and craft supplies.

3. Consider a crib that turns into a toddler bed.
