During your baby's first few months, others will frequently say things like, "I bet you can't wait until he's a few months older so he can actually start doing things." The misconception that newborns don't do anything interesting is shared by a) those who don't have children and b) parents of older children, who don't remember how interesting their kids were as newborns. The truth is your baby won't have to do much to keep you enthralled.
