Winter Babies!
What Works Best for Bundling Baby
By Belinda Clarke
For sleeping, Carter's makes a 100-percent polyester fleece sleeping bag with a full front zipper and zipper tap that fits infants up to 21 pounds. It's like a mini sleeping bag that keeps your baby snug as a bug while allowing him to move his arms around.
And for both sleeping and playing on those lazy winter days, Carter's also offers an Infant Footed Blanket Sleeper that is made of a flame-resistant polyester fleece and has rubberized skid-proof feet.
Lastly, if you don't live in the great white north but want something a little heavier than just cotton for sleeping, Carter's White Terry Stretch footed sleeper is a supersoft cotton/polyester blend that's a great alternative to fleece. Log on to www.carters.com for more information.
A newcomer to the baby clothing market is Jockey, maker of high-quality cotton clothes. Baby Jockey also offers a wide variety of cotton and terrycloth sleepers and onesies for Baby in adorable colors and patterns. I am also a fan of the Baby Jockey hooded towels because they are thick and cozy. Baby Jockey is available at Jockey stores, Kohl's, Kids 'R Us and by calling 1-800-Jockey1.
